'Radical But Right' by Sarah Wells

The article I chose is ' Radical But Right' from Sarah Wells. Sarah argued that animals should have their rights to live, because many animal specied have excellent abilities and characteristics that human beings do not have. Also, human eat different kinds of animals every day. We think that it is normal. However, the author argued that animals will feel painful when we kill them. Although the author considered that animals should get their rights, she also said that animals cannot be equal as human beings. In this way, she persuaded some aggresive thoughts about animal's rights.
In the article, Sarah expressed several solutions of this issue. Firstly, animals should have the protection of freedom. Also, human beings should not turn animals into products for profit accordidng to the writer's view. In addition, the writer fought for animals not being killed. Peoplee should be vegetarians instead of eating animals.
I found this article persuasive, because it gave audience a large number of examples and quotations from other articles. It expressed the author's position with many good reasons from every aspect. What's more, she provided solutions to this issue. That is an excellent way to persuade people who disagree with her position, because she had already thought about what to do if she stood on the different side of this issue.
